Press secretary Karoline Leavitt defended President Donald Trump’s latest threat to Iran during Monday’s press briefing after NBC White House correspondent Garrett Haake asked if “potential war crimes” were on the table. Earlier in the day, Trump posted on Truth Social when he declared a variety of Iranian targets would be completely obliterated if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately opened. Haake asked about the message, asking if the president was suggesting hitting civilian infrastructure. “The president posted this morning about his threat that on leaving Iran he said, ‘Blowing up and completely obliterating all of their electric generating plants, oil wells, hard island, and possibly all desalination plants,’” Haake said. TRUMP FLOATS SIEGE ON IRAN STRONGHOLD AS TEHRAN LOOSENS GRIP ON STRAIT OF HORMUZ “Under international law, striking civilian infrastructure like that is generally prohibited,” he continued. “Why is the president threatening what would amount to potentially a war crime with the US military? And how do you square that with the administration repeatedly saying that the US does not target civilians?”The press secretary quickly responded, “Look, the President has made it quite clear to the Iranian regime at this moment in time, as evidenced…

United States ruler Donald Trump is considering using military force to conduct a “raid” on Iran in order to “extract” its enriched uranium. Political analysts say that this move will do little more than extend the war the U.S. started back in February. While no decision has been made yet by the U.S., Trump seems to remain “generally open” to the option of a raid. He is also said to be weighing the risks to U.S. troops, a report by The Wall Street Journal stated on Sunday. At least 13 US service members have been killed and about 200 wounded since the Iran conflict began in late February. Trump has also instructed advisers to increase pressure on Tehran to hand over about 450 kg of enriched uranium as a condition for ending the conflict. He has also allegedly discussed “seizing it by force” if negotiations fail, according to the report. He and some allies have said privately that the material could be captured in a targeted operation without prolonging the war, potentially allowing it to wind down by mid-April. U.S. President Donald Trump is interested in calling on Arab countries to pay for the cost of the Iran war, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday, adding talks with Tehran to end the conflict are progressing well.Leavitt, asked at a news briefing whether Arab countries would step up to help pay for the war, said she would not get ahead of the Republican president but that it was an idea that Trump had.“I think it’s something the President would be quite interested in calling them to do,” Leavitt said.“It’s an idea that I know that he has and something that I think you’ll hear more from him on.”Leavitt said that what Tehran says publicly differs from what it tells U.S. officials in private and that Iran had privately agreed to some of Washington’s points.“Despite all of the public posturing you hear from the regime and false reporting, talks are continuing and going well. What is said publicly is, of course, much different than what’s being communicated to us privately,” Leavitt said.Trump earlier on Monday warned that Iran’s energy plants and oil wells would be obliterated if it did not open the Strait of Hormuz, after Tehran described…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! The United States stood alone at the United Nations in early March after a European-led procedural move blocked a vote on defining gender in biological terms at one of the world’s leading forums on women’s rights. At the conclusion of the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women, the U.S. was the only country to oppose the body’s annual “Agreed Conclusions,” citing concerns that the language departs from biological definitions of women and girls. No other member state voted with the United States. At the center of the dispute is how the United Nations defines “gender.” Current U.N. frameworks, rooted in the 1995 Beijing Declaration, do not provide a fixed definition and instead rely on evolving interpretations tied to broader concepts of gender identity, according to EU officials. The U.S. proposal sought to anchor the term explicitly in biological sex.UPROAR AFTER IRAN NAMED VICE-CHAIR OF UN BODY PROMOTING DEMOCRACY, WOMEN’S RIGHTSThe U.S. introduced a resolution titled “Protection of women and girls through appropriate terminology,” which sought to clarify how gender is understood across U.N. policy. Editor’s note: This story originally appeared on Laser Wars, a newsletter about military laser weapons and other futuristic defense technology. Subscribe here. The U.S. Army hasn’t even officially taken delivery of its most powerful high-energy laser weapon yet, but the service is already walking away from it in pursuit of a newer model. In a new Congressional Research Service (CRS) report published on March 9, Army officials revealed that the service no longer plans on transitioning its 300 kilowatt Indirect Fire Protection Capability-High Energy Laser system, or IFPC-HEL, dubbed “Valkyrie,” to a program of record after years in development. The service previously awarded Lockheed Martin an Other Transaction Authority agreement worth up to $220.8 million in July 2023 to develop four IFPC-HEL…

United States ruler Donald Trump claims that since democrats are “blocking funding” for the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) personnel, he can have ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents fill in instead. He said he will make this happen if democrats refuse to unblock funding for the Department of Homeland Security, which governs both ICE and the TSA. The partial shutdown that began in February has left thousands of TSA employees without pay, resulting in lengthy security lines at airports across the country. Both TSA and ICE are parts of DHS; however, the latter agency received $75 billion from Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” that was passed and signed into law last year. -RT In a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump wrote that “if the Radical Left Democrats don’t immediately sign an agreement to let our Country, in particular, our Airports, be FREE and SAFE again, I will move our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before, including the immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants who have come into our Country.” Free? Not very many people associate being fondled at airports and obeying rules with authoritarianism, not…

Let’s get this out of the way up front. I believe the 1911 pistol is just about the finest handgun ever made. A well-built, custom 1911 represents mechanical elegance, history and performance all rolled into one. In my opinion, a pistol of that caliber deserves to be carried in nothing less than a high-quality leather holster. According to the author, when you invest in quality materials and skilled craftsmanship, you receive an investment that can last a lifetime. The Galco Masterbilt line follows that same philosophy. For years, I’ve been a fan of Galco leather holsters. Two long-time favorites of mine are the Combat Master and the Concealable, both excellent outside-the-waistband (OWB) options. They are well-made, durable, and comfortable. That said, when it came time to outfit one of my favorite 1911 pistols, I knew I wanted something a step above — something even more special. Stepping Up After a bit of research and a quick phone call, I got the inside scoop on Galco’s premium holster lineup: the Masterbilt Series. I also had the pleasure of catching up with my friend Mike Barham at Galco, who walked me through the philosophy behind the Masterbilt line and the craftsmanship that…
