MoreThis article was originally published by Mike Adams at Natural News. The Fiat Mirage and the Physical Foundation of Wealth The U.S. dollar, once the world’s reserve currency, is rotting from within because the West has lost its productive edge. As I explained in my 2024 interview with Chris Olson, bank profits dropped 44% in late 2023, and the system is straining under the weight of unpayable debt. [1] The simple truth is that paper money is a promise printed on nothing, and promises break when the issuer runs out of strength. Fiat money is just a claim slip on future energy, and that claim is being debased every day by central banks. That is why I believe physical metals like silver matter more than ever. Silver is not merely a hedge against inflation; it is a store of embodied energy (and elemental scarcity) that cannot be printed or counterfeited. In this article, I will show you how the AI revolution is accelerating our collision with mineral scarcity, why silver sits at the epicenter of that collision, and how we can transition from dying fiat to an energy-backed future of genuine abundance. AI’s Exponential Leap and the Invisible Resource Wall The AI…

Please talk to your doctor before using any of the herbs and/or remedies mentioned in this article. What did our ancestors use when they had wounds and sore muscles? I can tell you what they didn’t do; they didn’t run to Walmart and purchase an antibiotic ointment or a sore muscle rub. Instead, our ancestors understood how to use herbs and other ingredients to create healing salves for what ailed them. Intrigued? I was, too! Learning how to heal your injuries with herbs and other items is a fundamental skill for any homesteader or prepper. So, let’s dive into what you need to know about healing salves. Want to save this post for later? Click Here to Pin It On Pinterest! What is a Salve? A salve is simply anything that you apply topically to heal the skin. Balms, ointments, and creams all qualify as salves. Most salves involve the use of waxes and oils to create a semi-solid texture that makes them shelf-stable and thick. The ingredients used in a salve can be changed to serve many functions. Most are multi-purpose,…

Few things amaze me like people who can solve a Rubik’s Cube.Sure, lots of things amaze me more — mountains, elaborate water features, how my dog sits on the couch and watches Unsolved Mysteries like he’s super into it — but it’s a very specific kind of amazement that’s like, “Man, that’s wild; I could never do that… nor do I really care to.”But I like that other people are super into it to the point that there’s now a Guinness World Record cottage industry of people solving them under different circumstances, and we’ve got a new top dog when it comes to solving a bunch of them while skydiving. According to UPI, 24-year-old Ishaan Hadkar has been solving cubes of the Rubik’s variety virtually his entire life, and that’s why he decided to try and obliterate the Guinness World Record for “most rotating puzzle cubes solved in a single skydive.”MAN SHATTERS WORLD RECORD WITH 465 HALF-MARATHONS RUN IN A SINGLE YEARI guess Rubik’s Cube is a registered trademark, so they have to go with “rotating puzzles,” like when someone says “flying disc” when we all know damn well they mean Frisbee.Hadkar said that he broke a cube on his…
A New Jersey Army recruiter admitted to stealing the identities of seven potential recruits in a scheme to fraudulently take out hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, announced this week. Former Sgt. 1st Class Jane Crosby, 35, pleaded guilty to bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in federal court, according to a press release, after using the victims’ personal information to apply for $266,000 in loans and credit card accounts and to withdraw money and deposit fraudulent checks. Task & Purpose first reported on the case Wednesday.Court documents and statements say that between around September and December 2023, Crosby used the prospective recruits’ personal information to apply for special credit union accounts intended for future service members, the office said. After creating the accounts without the victims’ knowledge, Crosby used their identities for loan and credit card applications and used the accounts for illegal banking transactions. One document said that multiple calls from Crosby’s office phone number were made to a credit union, which was not named, where the caller impersonated two of the victims while trying to access their accounts. At the time of the scheme, Crosby was assigned to a recruiting…
The United States is a major hypocrite when it comes to nuclear weapons. The bone of contention in Iran is supposedly nuclear weapons; however, the US spends more money on nukes than all other countries combined. This new report comes as the US considers deploying some of its nuclear weapons to additional North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member states in Europe, according to a Financial Times [behind a paywall] report last week. The outlet said US officials had discussed expanding the nuclear-sharing arrangement beyond its current participants. In 2025, the spending on nuclear weapons in the US surged by a quarter compared to the previous year, according to findings by an anti-nuclear watchdog, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The US remained by far the biggest spender on nuclear weapons. It spends $69.2 billion on its nuclear arsenal, which came to more than all other eight nations with a nuclear program combined. Washington also recorded the largest annual increase, with spending rising 22% year-on-year, or $12.4 billion, according to a report by RT. In a report released on Tuesday, ICAN said that the world’s nine nuclear-armed states spent nearly $119 billion on their arsenals last year, which is…

The Senate Armed Services Committee voted this week to advance legislation that would rename the Department of Defense to Department of War, moving the proposal one step closer to law.The name change is included in the committee’s version of the fiscal year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., said in a Thursday statement, explaining why he chose to vote against the bill’s advancement.Kaine criticized the proposed renaming and additional funding for what he called the “illegal and foolish” war in the Middle East.“Rather than taking steps to end this deeply unpopular war, this bill rebrands the Department of Defense as the Department of War, a juvenile move that sadly describes the reality of a President who has abandoned meaningful diplomacy in favor of starting doubtful wars in multiple locations and threatening even more,” he said in the statement.Though the Department of War and Secretary of War titles have not yet been legally established by Congress, the terms have been used by Pentagon and federal government officials as a secondary title since President Donald Trump’s September 2025 executive order declaring the reversal. The Department of Defense was known as the War Department from its creation in 1789 until 1947,…
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Chicago Bears legend Brian Urlacher is not happy about his team leaving Soldier Field.”I don’t like them leaving Soldier Field,” Urlacher told Fox News Digital. “I can’t picture them playing anywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s Indiana or somewhere in Illinois, I can’t picture them leaving Soldier Field.”Urlacher placed blame on Democratic leaders in Chicago and Illinois for the planned relocation to Hammond, Indiana. This year, Illinois lawmakers failed to pass legislation providing the property tax certainty and public infrastructure funding the team required to build a new stadium. “I just don’t see how as a state, legislator, governor, city mayor, how you can let this team leave the state of Illinois, or even be a topic of discussion,” Urlacher said. “You do what you have to do to keep the Bears there.”The NFL Hall of Famer is particularly bothered by the lack of legislation to keep the Bears amid the state’s sanctuary policies that offer taxpayer-funded resources to illegal immigrants.”You look at all the money they’ve given to illegal immigrants and the money they’ve set aside for that, it’s like $2.5, $3 billion that they’ve spent on the illegal immigrants.
