Benchmade has brought their recently released manual folder the Lowden into the Gold Class for the first time. This highly limited version of the Lowden ramps up the detail work and turns the design into something worth of being put on the display shelf. The Lowden made its first appearance in Benchmade’s 2025 catalog at the beginning of 2025 – but at that time it had no name, and no actual physical prototype. Needless to say, the unusual circumstances really heightened interest in the piece, so that by the time it actually dropped last August, the knife community was ready. The knife took visual cues from traditional switchblade design, but implemented them in a fully modern, EDC-friendly package, which allowed it to occupy its own little niche within the Benchmade catalog. The brass component has been polished so that it really pops A little less than a year later and the Lowden is being inaugurated into the Gold Class. The most striking element here is the handle, which, unlike the one on the standard Lowden, is skeletonized, with two fuller-like cutouts on each handle scale. Furthermore, it’s made not from aluminum, but titanium with carbon fiber inlays and a brass…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! The White House took aim at former President Barack Obama ahead of Friday’s grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center, contrasting President Donald Trump’s government construction projects to the 44th president’s.”President Trump continues to implement long-overdue and necessary renovations to beautify Washington, D.C., and our nation’s treasured monuments as we approach our historic 250th anniversary of independence. Thanks to the Builder-in-Chief, these projects are being completed on time and under budget — a stark contrast to the errantly run Obama administration, which overspent and underdelivered,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital when asked for comment about the museum. The Obama Presidential Center, which opens to the public Friday following a decade of planning and construction, has faced scrutiny over rising costs, construction delays and public infrastructure spending. The White House seized on those criticisms as Trump promotes a series of renovation and construction projects.”President Trump is ensuring our nation’s capital will be properly honored and maintained in excellent condition for generations to come,” Ingle added.BUREAUCRATS HIDE TRUE PRICE OF OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL CENTER AS TAXPAYERS HIT WITH INFRASTRUCTURE BILL An Obama Presidential Center Dedication held Thursday featured a slew of former…
The U.S. Air Force has cleared its first Collaborative Combat Aircraft to enter production, awarding contracts to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and Anduril Industries. Six companies will compete on the autonomous software that will fly them. The Air Force made the announcement Wednesday, saying it reached the decision four months ahead of schedule. The contracts went to General Atomics for its FQ-42A and Anduril for its FQ-44A, as part of CCA Increment 1.The two aircraft were previously designated the YFQ-42A and YFQ-44A. Dropping the Y prefix signals their shift from prototype to production.Often referred to as “loyal wingmen,” CCA are jet-powered, semi-autonomous unmanned aircraft built to fly alongside crewed fighters such as the F-35 and the planned F-47, extending their sensors and weapons while taking on risk that would otherwise fall to pilots. “Collaborative Combat Aircraft change how we project power and generate mass in highly contested environments,” Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ken Wilsbach said in the release. “Delivering this capability to our warfighters faster ensures our forces maintain the tactical edge required to deter and, if necessary, defeat any adversary.”The Air Force is committing to a large CCA fleet, though it won’t happen all at once. MoreNEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! For years, America treated the internet like a free speech “Wild West,” assuming the online world should operate with almost no guardrails. Because of this, our nation has operated under two dangerous assumptions about Big Tech: that platforms should be free to publish virtually anything without accountability, and that tech companies should be allowed to design their platforms however they want because “users can always leave.”Courts, parents and state legislatures are now rejecting both ideas in real time. We are facing the consequences of applying a totally hands-off philosophy to the digital world. As Jonathan Haidt documents in his book, “The Anxious Generation,” rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, loneliness and suicide among teens, especially girls, skyrocketed after smartphones and social media became dominant around 2012.Teen girls’ rates of major depressive episodes nearly doubled in the following decade, while emergency room visits for self-harm surged. Parents have been carefully monitoring their children’s physical world, but not their digital activity.WAKE-UP CALL: LANDMARK SOCIAL MEDIA RULING EXPOSES ADDICTIVE ALGORITHMS AS TEEN SURVEY HIGHLIGHTS DANGERS The result is what Haidt describes as children becoming “overprotected in the real world and underprotected online,” with less independence offline but…

The party’s over.Transgender athlete AB Hernandez finished one of the most highly-publicized high school sports careers in modern history on Saturday night at the California track and field state championship, winning two titles and sharing podium spots with female competitors.Hernandez took first place in the girls’ high jump and triple jump, and third place in the long jump.
