This article was originally published by Mike Adams at Natural News.  We Are Witnessing the Commoditization of Machine Intelligence A new frontier model emerges every week — Grok, Qwen, DeepSeek, GLM 5.2 — each one matching or exceeding the last. Yesterday’s marvel is today’s commodity, and the speed of this cycle is staggering. Consider Fable Five: a model so dangerous it was recalled after hacking government systems in hours. Then it was re-released and immediately outperformed everything by 8x in real-world coding tasks. It doesn’t need babysitting. It’s like a heat-seeking bomb that solves in hours what used to take days. This relentless commoditization is not just a technological curiosity; it’s a seismic shift in power. As I wrote in February 2026, “On a single afternoon in early 2026, a technological tremor erased $30 billion from IBM’s market capitalization” [1]. The catalyst wasn’t a war or a natural disaster — it was an AI model announcement. The genie is out of the bottle, and no amount of regulatory hand-wringing will stuff it back in. The sheer pace of improvement means that the capabilities we see today will look primitive next year, and the year after that, the most powerful intelligence on…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville argued Sunday that former President Joe Biden’s refusal to drop out of the 2024 election earlier caused lasting damage to his party.”So, the reason the Democratic Party is in the shape it is, is because Joe Biden wouldn’t get out until July the 21st of the election year, alright?” Carville said on his “Politics War Room” podcast. “Had Joe Biden gotten out in October of 2023, we would have a Democratic president. Don’t kid yourself.”  “And by the way, all the people on the left who say the Democrats don’t fight hard enough never said a word about Biden running for re-election,” he continued. “Not any of them. They all fell into line.”JAMES CARVILLE UNLOADS ON FAR-LEFT DEMOCRATS AFTER PRIMARY UPSETS, SAYS ‘YOU’RE PART OF THE PROBLEM’ Carville has spoken previously about how the Democratic Party’s association with far-left identity politics has clung to its reputation like a foul “stench”, even as some in the party have tried to pivot. But despite his advice and similar comments from establishment Democratic voices, an insurgent wing of Democratic socialists has continued to gain influence within the party.”I don’t know. Mechanical problems with a water treatment plant in Hawaii have left thousands of soldiers without central air conditioning in the barracks, a spokesman for U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii confirmed Tuesday in a statement to Military Times. Four thousand soldiers in Area North Barracks are opening windows, turning on fans or using other tools to beat the heat while the base grapples with pump issues. On July 10, deep-well pumps supporting Army installations in central and northern Oahu started experiencing problems. According to the garrison, only one pump is currently pushing water to the surface. To maintain essential water services, water chiller systems have been turned off. Without the chiller systems — which make up almost 40% of the daily water use — the barracks do not receive central air conditioning. The incident was initially reported by Task & Purpose. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures for the remainder of the week range from the mid-70s to the upper-80s.Units are able to move troops to MWR facilities with central air conditioning, according to the service, but as of Sunday, no units had done so. Repairs are underway, but an exact timeline for when the pumps will be fully functional again…

The Justice Department and FBI have a new communist financier in their crosshairs for alleged financial crimes: James “Fergie” Cox Chambers Jr., the estranged bad-boy heir to the Cox cable empire. On Friday, Spanish police detained Chambers on the luxury island of Ibiza, in response to an international arrest warrant, according to sources. The Marine Corps is engaged in a multi-year pilot program to determine whether the standardized test the military has used since 1968 might be swapped out for a more holistic way to capture troops’ experiences and abilities. In a senior enlisted leaders forum hosted last week by Military Officers Association of America, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Carlos Ruiz discussed the pilot and the Corps’ hopes of getting away from the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, which is administered prior to enlistment and determines what jobs troops are eligible for. “Is the ASVAB … score the only indicator of success? We say it’s not,” Ruiz said. He added that the Marine Corps had “almost seven years’ worth of data” assessing the comparative value of another test, the Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System, or TAPAS. When young people come in to take the ASVAB at a military entrance processing station, he said, they can stay seated and take the TAPAS.“What are the traits, the characteristics of a young person that make them more likely to succeed in the Marine Corps?” Ruiz said, adding these can include performance in high school, sports experience, family background, place of origin. These data points,…

TOPS has another new knife on the market this month, the I Stick Mini. TOPS historians will know that this one is a shrunk-down version of a popular push dagger model from the fixed blade maker. While their portfolio is lush and diverse, TOPS has always maintained an interest in tactical pieces. Whether the term is being used in a civilian self-defense, or military/first responder sense, TOPS’s predilections for beefy designs with stalwart stock and generally rugged materials fit those needs like a fingerless glove. Thus over the years the company has turned out fighting knives, concealable self-defense knives, extreme condition workhorses, and more specialized tactical pieces like karambits, gladii, and, yes, push daggers. The I Stick Mini on duty Which brings us to the I Stick, a large push dagger model that has been doing the rounds for years now. We have to imagine that, as with any well-received model, there were fans looking for the same thing in a different size. And so, the I Stick Mini addresses that need, with a 2.75-inch blade compared to the original’s 3.13 inches – that’s per edge, too, as the I Stick Mini, like its big brother, has a true dagger…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Nick Faldo can still let it fly with the best of them.Faldo, a six-time major champion and World Golf Hall of Famer, teed off on Bryson DeChambeau. The 68-year-old golfer blasted the LIV Golf star for his strategy, or lack thereof, on the golf course ahead of The Open at Royal Birkdale.”That’s a whole part of the story, how they’re superstars at LIV then come over and can’t do it. So that’s all another story. Then they go back to be superstars. He has — I’d say it to his face — he has zero clue of strategy,” Faldo told Sky Sports. The three-time Open champion referenced a quote from DeChambeau from a year ago, citing the 32-year-old’s error in strategy.”He said it last year I think on TV: ‘I’m going to go out and attack the links.’ Well, I’ve never attacked a links. You thread it, don’t you? You feed it down the fairway,” Faldo said.”You look at humps and bumps and what have you and think, ‘If I send it over and feed it, it nudges back into play.’ You don’t think, ‘I’ll just bomb it down there, can’t see…

The deadly screwworm is continuing to spread through the United States, confusing health officials who have put plans in motion to stop it. So far, US cases of screwworm infection are hovering at 35 animals, most of which are clustered in Texas. The parasite is flesh-eating, and sterile-fly projects are in place to control the spread of the New World screwworm. This parasite could reshape cross-border trade too, said Mexican cattle ranchers. Mexico’s cattle industry is in a bigger crisis than that of the US. It is facing what Álvaro Bustillos Fuentes calls “the worst storm in the history of our livestock industry,” a convergence of drought, disease and disrupted trade that has cut northern Mexican ranchers off from the US market that shaped them for more than a century. According to a report by Texas Public Radio (TPR), Bustillos, who is the president of the Chihuahua Regional Cattlemen’s Union (UGRCh), said that this major blow to livestock came after three years of punishing drought, which he described as the worst in 40 years. After that drought came the return of the New World screwworm, a flesh-eating parasite that had been eradicated from the region decades ago, and the U.S.…
