Trevor Bauer is heading back to Mexico … another reminder that no matter how well he pitches, Major League Baseball remains unwilling to welcome him back. After dominating the Atlantic League with the Long Island Ducks, where he broke franchise strikeout records and threw a seven-inning no-hitter, the 35-year-old right-hander is heading back to Mexico: officially re-signed with the Diablos Rojos.Bauer is returning to the club where he went 10-0 during a dominant 2024 run, not because he lacks options on the mound, but because he has run out of willing suitors in the majors. In seven starts for the Flock, Bauer posted a stellar 5-1 record with a 2.36 ERA, racking up 66 strikeouts against just seven walks in 42 innings.TREVOR BAUER THROWS NO-HITTER FOR LONG ISLAND DUCKS IN JUST SECOND US START SINCE 2021The 2020 National League Cy Young Award winner isn’t playing south of the border due to a decline in talent.Bauer remains in professional exile following a league suspension that permanently altered the trajectory of his career.Commissioner Rob Manfred originally issued Bauer an unprecedented 324-game suspension, which an independent arbitrator later reduced to 192 games. Wyndham Clark won the U.S. Open on Sunday and, like her many years on Instagram have taught her, his girlfriend Emily Tanner was in the right place at the right time. She ran up to him on the 18th green at Shinnecock and celebrated the win with him.It was Clark’s second U.S. Open win in the last four years. His first after she served as his “good luck charm” at the Masters Par Three Contest earlier this year. After sealing the win over the weekend, he didn’t have to look for her. The moment wasn’t too big for Tanner, who has been on the Screencaps radar for a while now. That radar is a great place to be if you’re on Instagram, like she is, doing your thing too.It was mentioned in Screencaps on Saturday that she deserved to be given some credit for recharging the 32-year-old’s batteries and assisting him back into the win column. It was also predicted by Joe that she was on the verge of becoming golf’s next star.WYNDHAM CLARK’S GIRLFRIEND EMILY TANNER IS TURNING INTO A STAR AT THE US OPEN, ALYSSA MILANO BEGS AGAIN & MEAT That prediction has come true. This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The End of the American Dream. Why is there so much excitement about an agreement with Iran that literally resolves none of the key issues that the two sides were fighting about? The long-term status of the Strait of Hormuz is not resolved. The war between Israel and Hezbollah is not resolved. Nobody seems to have any idea where the 300 billion dollar “investment fund” for Iran is going to come from, and none of the nuclear issues that this war was supposedly about in the first place have been resolved either. So what in the world did the “Memorandum of Understanding” actually accomplish? Yes, the “Memorandum of Understanding” is supposed to open up the Strait of Hormuz for a period of 60 days. But as I pointed out a few days ago, Iranian leaders have told us over and over again that once the 60-day period has ended, a “maritime service fee” will be imposed on all ships that travel through the Strait of Hormuz. Any ships that are not willing to pay up will have to face the wrath of the Iranian military. But U.S. officials are telling us an entirely…

MoreVilseck, Germany — The picturesque Bavarian town of Vilseck has hosted U.S. forces since the end of World War Two and could bear the brunt of President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw at least 5,000 troops from Germany.Although details of the units affected by the order have not been confirmed, the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment — the only permanent brigade combat team in Germany — based at Rose Barracks in Vilseck is expected to go.“The consequences would be dramatic,” said the town’s new mayor, Thorsten Graedler, who took office this week facing the prospect of thousands of job losses in a rural area where the base is one of the biggest employers for miles around.Over the years, he said, the presence of the base, with its thousands of well‑paying jobs for local people and steady stream of customers for local businesses, had produced a situation of dependence whose risks were now being felt.“Our entire town of Vilseck relies largely on the military training area for its livelihood — pubs, restaurants, garages, supermarkets,” he said.U.S. wants Europe to spend more on defense The decision to withdraw troops came amid increasing pressure from Washington on European countries to raise defense spending, and…
An unidentified man at Wednesday’s Brewers-Cardinals game in St. Louis was seconds away from jumping off the upper deck railing when a group of fans intervened at the last minute.Sure, I could insert a joke here about the Cardinals actually being decent this year and there being no reason to jump, but I won’t. That’s not classy. I know how to read a room.Anyway, video went viral Wednesday night of the man dangling off the ledge in what appeared to be the 200s section for reasons unknown. The clip, taken from a fan below, is only 20 seconds long, but it might be the most tense 20 seconds at Busch Stadium this season. Fans start to notice what’s happening about five seconds into it, and then another man comes up behind the fan, grabs him and tackles him into the seats.BASEBALL FAN’S FALL ‘ACCIDENTAL IN NATURE,’ POLICE SAY, AS GRAPHIC VIDEO SHOWS INCIDENTTake a look:Why do fans keep trying this out?Look, I have no idea what was going on here. An evangelical preacher out of Tennessee, Perry Stone, claimed on a podcast that government officials held a secret briefing for pastors. Religious leaders were allegedly urged by the ruling class to prepare their congregations for the imminent release of information about alien life and unidentified spacecraft, or UFOs (unidentified flying objects). These revelations would upend the Christian faith, Sone said. Stone, a Tennessee-based Pentecostal preacher and founder of the Voice of Evangelism ministry, made the remarks in a podcast last week, which gained traction only recently, according to a report by RT. With Christian nationalism on the rise, if this is true, we may see a lot of people very upset. Christian Nationalist Pete Hegseth Pushes Religion In The Military Citing an unidentified friend, Stone said that “there were a large number of pastors who had been invited to go to a certain state to hear some men in the United States government and others share with them a concern that they had”. The officials, he said, warned that forthcoming releases would cover non-human spacecraft built of materials “not allegedly a part of our planet”, as well as “very strange reptilian-looking creatures” – details Stone said, “almost sound like something out of a sci-fi movie”.…
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! FIRST ON FOX: A pair of House lawmakers are seeking a major change to the Secret Service after heightened scrutiny following the third assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in April. Reps. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., and Russell Fry, R-S.C., introduced legislation Thursday that would transfer the Secret Service from DHS supervision and make the agency a direct report to the White House. The measure is part of a broader package of bipartisan reforms that Moskowitz, a former emergency management director, is unveiling to reform the sprawling department that has come under frequent criticism for bureaucratic dysfunction. His legislative package would also make FEMA an independent cabinet-level agency and move TSA under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation. The goal, Moskowitz said, is to cut red tape at DHS that impedes its subagencies’ ability to function — an observation he saw up close as a member of the congressional task force investigating the first assassination attempt against Trump in Butler, Pa. Traditionally, big handguns were for carrying openly and smaller handguns were for concealment because — well, duh — smaller things are easier to hide (and they’re also less weight and bulk to carry). However, the wise concealed carriers ask themselves, “Why exactly am I carrying a handgun in the first place?” The obvious answer is, “Because I might have to shoot something to stay alive.” The standard Springfield Armory Echelon pistol is a full-sized handgun, and it makes for an exceptional concealed carry choice. Shown is a compact 4.0C model. You just need to find the right holster and methods for optimal concealment whatever pistol you choose. If the purpose of the gun is not only to shoot but to hit the target when it is desperately important to do so — and since we know that, as a general rule, larger handguns are easier to shoot fast and straight — we have a definite collision of needs here. Which brings us to the question of how to comfortably and discreetly carry larger handguns concealed. There may be other reasons. In law enforcement, the rookie cop is generally a relatively young adult, often with no firearms experience, now in an…

A quick look at .222 Remington, the parent case of the ubiquitous .223 Remington. The .222 Remington was introduced by Remington in 1950 for the 722 bolt-action rifle, which was later superseded by the current 700 series. For a short time, the Remington Model 760 pump-action repeater was also available in this cartridge. Much of the credit for the .222 is due to Mike Walker, a longtime Remington employee. The cartridge became very popular with benchrest competitors in the 1970s, and varmint hunters also found its performance excellent. But, by the early 1990s, the .222 Remington had lost much of its popularity to the .223 Remington. The .222 Remington is in about the same class as the older 219 Zipper but is rimless and adapted to modern bolt-action rifles. It’s not based on any older case necked down but is of original design. It’s a more-or-less scaled-down version of the .30-06 and fills the gap between the .218 Bee and the .220 Swift. It’s well suited to the needs of the average person who desires a high-velocity .22.A great many benchrest matches have been won with the .222 Remington, and it has a reputation for superb accuracy. It’s an excellent 200-yard cartridge…

Bryson DeChambeau could be seeking a pathway back to the PGA Tour sooner rather than later. He certainly won’t be alone in that journey; many players on LIV Golf’s roster could be looking to do the same, but the circumstances around DeChambeau’s next move are complicated. As the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) has announced that it is pulling the plug on funding LIV beyond the 2026 season, the circuit’s future is nothing but a giant question mark. LIV Golf could cease to exist in a handful of months, or it could be a dulled-down version of what it is today, and there may not really be an in between.A natural next step for DeChambeau would be to return to the PGA Tour. That step would undoubtedly include hurdles in the shape of many different repercussions built by the Tour, but ones that would be easier to leap for DeChambeau as he’s reportedly earned well over $100 million during his time with LIV. DeChambeau, as he so often does, is looking at the hypothetical situation through a different lens. He’s solely concerned about growing his YouTube and social media following, while also trying to build back relationships with the players who…
