Iran has vowed to retaliate against the United States after it fired upon and seized a cargo vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. “Trump, by imposing a blockade and violating the ceasefire, seeks, in his view, to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender or to justify renewed warmongering,” said Iran’s parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. Ghalibaf led the Iranian delegation in the failed talks with Vice President J.D. Vance in Islamabad, Pakistan, on April 11th. Vance Fails In Iran: No Peace Deal According to state media, as reported by NBC News, the ministry called the Sunday night cargo vessel seizure of the Touska commercial vessel an “illegal and brutal act” that “constitutes piracy and a terrorist action.” It said the seizure near Iran’s coast in the Sea of Oman was “another clear breach” of the two-week U.S.-Iran ceasefire, which expires Wednesday. US Seizes An Iranian-Flagged Cargo Ship The U.S. claimed that the Touska attempted to breach its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, so it fired upon it and seized it. The Iranian foreign ministry said it had brought the matter to the United Nations’ attention and that Iran would do everything in its power to defend its…

As demand surges for one of the military’s most in-demand missile interceptors, the Navy is preparing to bring it to sea. The service plans to integrate the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement interceptor into its Aegis Combat System for the first time, Lockheed Martin announced in a Tuesday statement, as demand for the missile grows and the Pentagon expands production. The Army uses the interceptor missile, known as the PAC-3 MSE, in its Patriot air defense system, and the move will bring the interceptor aboard the Navy’s ships for use within the Aegis system to detect and intercept incoming aerial threats. The Aegis is an automated naval weapons system incorporated onto destroyers and cruisers that uses an advanced radar system to identify and track and then guide missiles like Standard Missile surface-to-air weapons. It can track over 100 targets at a time. Now, Lockheed Martin has been awarded a “multi-million” dollar contract to incorporate PAC-3 MSE missiles into the system, according to the company’s statement. It did not specify a specific dollar amount or timeline for the testing or integration.“This integration further expands the capability of Aegis to engage missile threats at multiple layers, enabling a more comprehensive and effective defense against evolving threats, ensuring the warfighter has…

This article was originally published by Mike Adams at Natural News.  Introduction I have watched, analyzed, and reported on geopolitical shifts for decades, but what we are witnessing in March 2026 is not just another conflict. It is the final, convulsive act of a dying American empire. On February 28, President Donald Trump, in concert with Israel, launched Operation Epic Fury — a massive air campaign aimed at regime change in Iran [1]. The administration frames this as a decisive, necessary stroke. But from my perspective, this war was lost before the first missile was fired. The outcome guarantees a seismic shift in global power, and it hands the ultimate leverage not to Washington, but to Tehran. In this article, I will argue that Iran, through a combination of strategic patience, asymmetric military capability, and- most importantly- geographic destiny, now holds the master key to the world’s energy economy. The United States and its allies are not just losing a military campaign; they are surrendering control over the global energy system. The Strait of Hormuz, that narrow artery of commerce, is the fulcrum upon which the fate of nations now balances. And Iran’s hand is firmly on the lever. This is…

Roughly 140 American service members have been wounded — eight severely — in the first 10 days of Operation Epic Fury, the Pentagon confirmed Tuesday.“The vast majority of these injuries have been minor, and 108 service members have already returned to duty,” Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to Military Times. “Eight service members remain listed as severely injured and are receiving the highest level of medical care.” Since the United States and Israel began their joint offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, Iranian retaliatory strikes have killed at least seven American service members. President Donald Trump and senior administration officials traveled to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Saturday to witness the return of the first six soldiers killed in action. On Monday, Vice President JD Vance met the grieving family of a seventh soldier as the flag-draped transfer case arrived on U.S. soil. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth pledged the U.S. attacks would continue, and warned that Tuesday would be “our most intense day of strikes inside Iran.” “We’re crushing the enemy in an overwhelming display of technical skill and military force,” he told reporters in a press briefing Tuesday morning. “We will not…

Food storage is one of the most critical parts of homesteading and emergency preparedness. Meals Ready-To-Eat, also known as MREs, are a common staple when it comes to survival. The military uses them to help feed soldiers in the field, and they are often used for those going out for long hikes and backpacking. We’ve all seen those MREs on store shelves at outdoor stores, but have you ever tried one? Don’t get us wrong, MREs do a great job of fueling up the body and providing a lot of caloric energy in a small package. However, they are usually anything but delicious. Making your own MREs allows you to choose the ingredients and make meals you know you’ll enjoy. MREs are quite expensive, but you can make the same, if not better, product at just a fraction of the cost when you do it yourself. It is easy to collect items on store shelves to make your very own MREs that are shelf-stable and lightweight. Learn more about how to make your own MREs with these tips. Kharg Island, which handles the bulk of Iran’s crude exports — and was once floated by President Donald Trump as a potential target — could spark broader regional instability and attacks on energy infrastructure if struck by the U.S., a leading energy security expert has warned.Reports indicate the Trump administration is weighing options that could include a direct attack on Kharg Island.Discussing the implementation of boots on the ground amid Operation Epic Fury on “The Claman Countdown,” retired Army Brig. Gen. After decades of relying on Vietnam-era designs, the Army has approved the first offensive hand grenade to enter the service since 1968.The new M111 Offensive Hand Grenade was approved for full material release this year, the Army announced Tuesday in a statement. The new grenade relies primarily on blast overpressure rather than fragmented inner pieces to incapacitate, making it better suited for close-quarters combat inside of buildings, bunkers and tunnels. Full material release allows the Army to field the weapon across the force after testing has confirmed that it meets safety and performance requirements. The approval lets the Army move the grenade from development into production. The Army’s standard M67 fragmentation grenade explodes shrapnel in all directions, making it risky for soldiers to use in tight spaces. Blast overpressure refers to the intense pressure wave created by an explosion.“One of the key lessons learned from the door-to-door urban fighting in Iraq was the M67 grenade wasn’t always the right tool for the job. The risk of fratricide on the other side of the wall was too high,” said Col. Vince Morris, the Army’s project manager for Close Combat Systems, in the statement. But a weapon utilizing blast overpressure instead of…

Boker’s dropping a heavy duty outdoors fixed blade next month. It’s called the Sledgedog, and has a build designed to be rugged enough to live up to its name. Any time you swing by KnifeNews, you’re guarunteed to learn something about cutlery – that’s a given. But we like to make sure to educate readers in other ways too, and today we’re offering, completely free of charge, a brief lesson in linguistic history. Did you know that the word “sledge,” as we see it in this knife’s name, is an alternate, typically British English way of saying “sled?” Well, now you do – and thus if you were wondering what a “sledgedog” was, wonder no more. The finger guard and leather sheath are nice classic touches But what about the Sledgedog, the knife? It’s clear that designer Fernando Santos had classic survival knives in mind when designing this bad boy. The 6.69-inch drop point blade is pure outdoors performance, with a steep hollow grind to make sure that D2 steel edge bites deep. D2 itself has been pressed into all sorts of roles over its many years in the knife world, but it may still be best-suited to the role…

As the Iran war intensifies, the United States ruling class, headed by Donald Trump, refuses to rule out a military draft. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said that Trump “keeps his options on the table” when asked about the possibility of conscription. Why Military Conscription Is Worse Than Slavery The White House’s Rapid Response team denied plans for a draft, writing on X of Leavitt, “She didn’t say anything close to this. You just made it up.” Technically, she did not say that there were plans for a draft, but she did say that the ruling class won’t rule it out either. That’s fairly ambiguous and can be left open to interpretation based on how one feels about the current ruler in charge. Trump, along with Israel, attacked Iran on February 28th, killing the supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Iran has retaliated for the death and the airstrikes. In a Saturday, March 7th post on Truth Social, Trump said Iran was “being beat to hell.” On March 8th,  Leavitt said that, for the moment, the strikes against Iran “will continue to be” focused on an air campaign. “President Trump wisely does not remove options off of the table. I know a lot…
