You’d think that an NBA legend like Shaquille O’Neal would constantly be trading texts with the current crop of NBA players.I mean, he’s a legend. Who better to ask about navigating a career in the NBA than him?But you’d be mistaken, and there’s a pretty simple reason why Shaq isn’t one to play digital pen-pals with current players. In an interview with The New York Post, Shaq was asked who he keeps in touch with, and he didn’t hold back.”None. I don’t like athletes or superstars because they’re a–holes,” he said. “I denounced myself from being a celebrity about 10 years ago because those people are weird. I’m not weird.”I get that… but I didn’t realize you could denounce celebrity status or that Shaq had done this.In fact, I was under the impression that he was still a celebrity.I mean, the man has gummy candies in the shape of his head. They don’t just give those to anyone. If they did, I’d have a giant sack of my own gummy heads sitting in my pantry right now.I thought this was such an interesting take because it’s pretty common for former players — especially ones who have moved into a media role…
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! LAS VEGAS – Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre had several major skirmishes on SmackDown in the buildup to their WrestleMania 42 match. So much so, they were put into an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night.Fatu vowed on the final “Friday Night SmackDown” before WrestleMania to put McIntyre in the “rear view.” He did just that. The two wrestling behemoths brutalized each other to the best of their abilities. The match itself started on the outside of the ring as Fatu pushed McIntyre into the ring announcer’s corner and introduced tables, chairs and a toolbox into the match. It wouldn’t last long as McIntyre got the momentum back. He took a cellphone and recorded a video of himself before bashing Fatu’s head with it.WWE STARS REVEAL WHAT MAKES WRESTLEMANIA SO SPECIAL: ‘IT’S THE SUPER BOWL OF PRO WRESTLING’ As the match wore on, McIntyre’s frustration boiled. He dove over the ring ropes onto Fatu on the outside of the ring. He tried to pin Fatu, but he would kick out. It would happen often as Fatu just wouldn’t stay down.McIntyre even pushed Fatu off the top rope and through a table.…

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced on March 4 that Marine Raider Pfc. Norton Retzsch, 25, had been accounted for on April 1, 2025 — thanks, in part, to 20-year-old DNA submitted to the military in 2006.Kim Opitz, Retzsch’s great-niece, a freelance writer who lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, told Kare 11 News that her “mother never, never let us forget about him.”Retzsch, a member of Company C, 1st Marine Raider Battalion, 1st Marine Raider Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Amphibious Corps, was first reported missing in action on July 9, 1943, during the Battle of Enogai on New Georgia in the Solomon Islands. The New Georgia campaign, dubbed Operation Toenails, was led by Rear Adm. NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! A federal judge blocked the Justice Department’s efforts to issue a pair of grand jury subpoenas sent to the Federal Reserve Board after concluding they were merely a “pretext” to pressure Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell into lowering interest rates or resigning. In the ruling, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said there “is abundant evidence that the subpoenas’ dominant (if not sole) purpose is to harass and pressure Powell either to yield to the President or to resign and make way for a Fed Chair who will.” “The Court must thus conclude that the asserted justifications for these subpoenas are mere pretexts,” he added. The news comes after U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office said last year it had opened a criminal inquiry into Powell related to the testimony he gave to Congress last year regarding the $2.5 billion renovation of the Fed’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. This is a breaking news story. Check back shortly for updates. Read the full article here
More than 36 years and 6,000 flight hours later, U.S. Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. Paul Anderson concluded his career this month with record-setting flying hours. Anderson, assigned to the 305th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, is ending his service after achieving the feat of being the longest-flying helicopter pilot across active duty, Reserve and Guard components, the Air Force confirmed. The flying hours he notched were spent in the HH-60G Pave Hawk and the HH-60W Jolly Green II, per an Air Force release. He reached 1,000 more hours than the helicopter pilot with the second-most hours.Anderson’s Air Force career began in 1990 as a maintenance officer in Indiana and Alaska, the release says. A few years later, he was selected to attend pilot training, where he made a “spur-of-the-moment decision” that would “define the next three decades of his life.”“The flight commander came up and offered a helicopter slot,” Anderson said in the release. “I thought about it for a couple seconds and said, ‘I’ll take it.’”He attended helicopter training in Fort Rucker, Alabama, according to the release, and graduated in 1995. After spending time at locations like Kadena Air Base, Japan, and Nellis Air Force Base,…
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Iran is deploying explosive-laden drone boats disguised as wooden fishing vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, a defense expert has warned — a move that signals a new phase of hybrid maritime warfare in one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes.Cameron Chell, CEO of drone technology firm Draganfly, spoke after the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) confirmed that a Marshall Islands–flagged oil tanker was struck March 1 by an Iranian unmanned surface vehicle north of Muscat, Oman.”UKMTO has received confirmation that the vessel was attacked by an uncrewed surface vehicle (USV), and that the crew has been evacuated to shore,” UKMTO said in a threat assessment.Reports also indicated that two additional oil tankers were hit March 11 by remote-controlled explosive boats in the Gulf, as Iran intensified attacks on foreign vessels following the start of the U.S. Operation Epic Fury against the regime on Feb. 28.FIRES RAGE AT IRAN’S BANDAR ABBAS NAVAL HEADQUARTERS, STRAIT OF HORMUZ TRAFFIC STALLED The use of so-called “suicide skiffs” represents a growing asymmetric threat in the narrow, 21-mile-wide Strait, Chell warned, while highlighting the technological capabilities behind these attacks.”The Iranians probably have use of radio…
An Army lieutenant colonel who instructed Old Dominion University’s Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps was killed on campus Thursday when a shooter opened fire in his classroom. Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger confirmed the shooting victim was Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, who enlisted in the Army in 2003 and received his Army commission in 2007 after graduating from ODU. Shah led the ROTC program at the Norfolk, Virginia, university since 2022.“A devoted ROTC instructor, Lt. Col. Shah didn’t just lead a life of service to our country, he taught and led others to follow that path,” Spanberger said in a post on X. “I am grateful for his example, deeply saddened by his death, and praying for his family.”Dominique Evans, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Norfolk field office, identified the suspect as Mohamed Bailor Jalloh. Some time has passed since the last time we took a peek at what Artisan Cutlery had cooking – but we’re glad to do so now, because we can talk about the incoming Trust, from designer Theo Estevao. The Trust is an elegant design, but also quite a large one. The blade length is listed as 3.76 inches – that’s a considerable run of steel, enough for chores both in suburbia as well as out in the rough and tumble of the great outdoors. The blade shape, a modified wharncliffe (or reverse tanto if you’re nasty), provides dependable, predictable geometry – the Trust has a look unique to itself, but it won’t cause any surprises when it comes to separating matter. Symmetry is maintained on the Trust despite it being a frame lock The reliable performance of the Trust continues in Artisan’s choice of blade steel, S35VN. This is a couple generations of super steel behind the curve, but it’s hard to imagine any but the most recalcitrant of steel addicts quibbling with it here; for use in a knife like the Trust, whose sizable blade may do chores both heavy and light, S35VN’s balanced, but still elevated, performance will…
We should all be expecting the price of oil to continue to rise, as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Global oil supplies are being hindered, and if the cost-of-living crisis wasn’t bad enough, it looks like it’s about to get much worse. Crude oil, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, natural gas, petrochemicals, power, and fertilizer prices have all risen sharply since the conflict began. The narrow shipping lane, known as the Strait of Hormuz, between Iran and Oman, remains closed. This lane is the one through which around a fifth of the world’s daily oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply passes. The closure is threatening to cause economic pain to the everyday human almost everywhere on the planet. Top Middle East oil producers Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait have all cut production at their oilfields because they have to pump oil into storage if they cannot load it onto oil tankers, accoridng to a report by Reuters. Most investigative journalists agree that this is going to cause a massive economic impact, harming those who have nothing to do with the ruling class’s war mongering. The halt to oil and gas shipments through the strait is the nightmare scenario for the global energy…
