Matthew Comer, a spokesperson for the Navy’s 7th Fleet, said in an emailed statement. ”There were no operational impacts or delays to Chief.” Navy officials confirmed the service member received only a light scratch, but protocol required a medical transfer because of the brush with a wild animal. The Navy did not specify the species of monkey involved in the attack. The incident occurred just days after two U.S. soldiers were wounded in an encounter with a bear in a remote area of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, while conducting a land navigation exercise. The Army said in a Monday statement the soldiers were treated for serious injuries at an Anchorage hospital and had been discharged. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, which is investigating the incident, attributed their survival to…

Gen. Heath Collins stated that his organization was “all in” on “bringing directed energy to the fight,” including integrating such weapons into unmanned platforms for domestic air defense against hostile missiles and drones.“We are certainly putting more attention into bringing potentially game-changing directed energy capabilities to bear in an unmanned platform,” Collins stated in response to a question from Rep. Gabe Vasquez (D-New Mexico) regarding the MDA’s adoption of directed energy weapons. “[An] air platform is what we’re focused on, so we can bring that capability to the edge of the fight and thin the herd on [unmanned aerial vehicles], potentially air threats and the like.” While Collins did not identify specific directed energy capabilities of interest to…

I love to tinker. You can give me a completely sound gun that doesn’t need anything else, and I’ll still want to swap out some parts “just to see.” You know the type. Heck, I bet most of you are the same way. The test platform for this review was the author’s Springfield Armory SAINT rifle. It is shown here with the Midwest Industries Combat Rail HD and associated components. I recently swapped a Midwest Industries Combat Rail HD, in the 13.5-inch length, and the company’s low-profile gas block onto a Springfield Armory SAINT 5.56 M-LOK rifle I have in my collection. The SAINT is an excellent and accessible rifle that does many things right out of the box, and I thought it would make a great host for trying out this rail. The Details It is worth considering why a handguard swap can matter. The handguard is the primary interface between the shooter and the front half of the rifle. Its diameter, contour, and surface treatment determine how your support hand naturally finds the firearm. That directly affects comfort, transition speed and consistency during long strings of fire. The author is shown here, hands-on with the Midwest Industries Combat…

Three U.S. aircraft carriers are operating simultaneously in the Middle East for the first time since 2003, U.S. Central Command said on Friday, marking the largest concentration of naval power in the region in decades. The USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Gerald R. Ford and USS George H.W. Bush are currently operating in the area’s waterways, the command said on social media, in addition to their carrier air wings and over 15,000 sailors and Marines. Together, the three carriers bring together over 200 aircraft with capabilities ranging from electronic warfare to stealth striking. Some of the aircraft include the EA-18G Growler, F-35C Lightning II, F/A-18 Super Hornet and the CMV-22B Osprey. Aircraft carriers serve as the focal point of U.S. naval power, as they are able to sustain air operations without relying on host-nation bases. Each carrier is accompanied by a strike group that often includes destroyers, cruisers and logistics support vessels. At least twelve total ships are in the region: the three aircraft carriers and an assortment of accompanying destroyers, the command said. It did not include details about specific operations nor the duration of deployment. The ships’ presence comes amid continuing tensions between the U.S. and Iran, including disruptions…

When it comes to emergency preparedness, most of us are just trying to prepare for the worst and learn how to take care of our families in a crisis. We’re not looking for trouble. But what if some of the very tools we rely on in emergencies are raising red flags? What if buying certain survival items is enough to land you on a list you never knew existed?Nowadays, nothing you do on the Internet is private. Even if you use a VPN, companies like Palantir and Microsoft can find ways to track and record everything you do, especially everything you purchase. And now, with AI technology, the government can easily scan all that data and create a list of people who buy certain items. The reason I’ve been thinking about this lately is because of a video I found by the Youtube channel, A Small Town Prepper. They made a list of “blacklist” prepper items that could potentially put on you a list.Want to save this post for later? Click Here to Pin It On Pinterest!Of course, these aren’t your average emergency supplies. According to the video, these are survival tools that governments, corporations, and even hackers/looters watch closely. Not…

This article was originally published by Mike Adams at Natural News.  Introduction For years, the cumulative damage from decades of martial arts training lingered as a low-grade, ever-present pain. A damaged finger and a back that protested at the thought of a jog were my constant companions. The Western medical system offered little promise other than suggesting painkillers or invasive surgeries, options rooted in a profit-driven model that rarely addresses root causes [1]. As someone deeply committed to natural health and self-reliance, I was profoundly skeptical of any so-called ‘miracle cure.’ That skepticism was challenged, however, by the discovery of BPC-157, a peptide the body naturally produces. My journey from pain to restored vitality is not a story of pharmaceutical intervention, but of augmenting the body’s innate, yet often depleted, capacity to heal itself. The Low-Grade Nagging of Aging Injuries and a Skeptical Discovery The impact of past injuries was far more than an inconvenience; it was a thief of mobility and joy. Simple acts like lifting heavy farm supplies or playing with my dog became calculated risks. My worldview, built on clean nutrition, herbal medicine, and a deep distrust of centralized medical authorities, made me dismissive of trends like ‘therapeutic…

A Swiss broadcaster pulled its coverage of a two-man bobsled event at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics from its website after a commentator sparked criticism by calling an Israeli athlete a “Zionist” and questioning his participation in the Games.Radio Television Suisse released a statement following the remarks by commentator Stefan Renna about Israel’s Adam Edelman, broadcast during the two-man heat on Monday. “Our journalist wished to question the (International Olympic Committee) IOC’s policy regarding the statements made by the athlete concerned,” RTS said in a statement to Reuters. “However, although factual, such information may have appeared inappropriate due to its length within the context of a sports commentary. For this reason, we removed the segment from our website last night.”According to Reuters, Renna claimed that Edelman was a “self-defined Zionist” who has posted several messages on social media in support of the “genocide” in Gaza. Renna mentioned the United Nations when clarifying his use of the word “genocide.” “One can therefore question his presence in Cortina during these Games,” he continued, citing the IOC’s rules against making political statements. Renna’s commentary about Edelman lasted the duration of his run with teammate Chen Menachem.
