Nobody on the planet is still more outraged at the Pete Rose situation than Donald Trump. A lot of things irk the president, and for good reason. The insufferable media. Democrats. The fact that Iran can’t seem to pick a new Supreme Leader. Rosie O’Donnell. The list is long, and it’s expansive. But the late, great Pete Rose getting kicked out of baseball decades ago for gambling eats at Trump every single day. Why? I have no idea, but I respect it. Years ago when Rose died, Trump wrote a novel of a Truth Social telling MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to grow a pair and put Rose in the Hall of Fame. It was amazing.Anyway, Trump and Rose are BACK in the news this week. That’s right. It’s impossible to say when the first bricks were made, but the walls of ancient cities have been found and determined to be thousands of years old. The walls of Jericho were dated at 7,000 years old and made of brick. Bricks throughout history have been made from a variety of materials mostly determined by what was available in any given area and its ability to bind and dry into a strong, workable form. The ancient Egyptians were known for their stonework when constructing the pyramids and the sphinx, but their bricks were used to construct mostly homes and smaller buildings, tombs, and temples. Many of those structures still stand to this day. Their standard recipe was a combination of clay and straw, but they introduced a new innovation as well: fired brick which resisted the elements over thousands of years. Other cultures improvised bricks from other materials including things as simple as mud to other combinations as complex as Roman concrete made from volcanic ash. Early homesteaders crossing the Great Plains made their homes from soil bricks across treeless prairies. Want to save this post for later? Click Here to Pin It On Pinterest! NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Forty-six years ago this month, America learned a brutal lesson in the Iranian desert. In April 1980, Operation Eagle Claw, a Delta Force mission to rescue American hostages in Tehran, ended in disaster. Mechanical failures, a sandstorm, and a catastrophic collision killed eight U.S. service members. The mission failed. The world watched. Our enemies took note. But what they failed to understand then, and what they are being reminded of now, is this:America learns. America adapts. And America returns more lethal.TRUMP TO HONOR SPECIAL FORCES BEHIND MADURO CAPTURE AT FORT BRAGG AS GLOBAL TENSIONS ESCALATEThe rescue of two U.S. airmen deep inside hostile territory was not just an extraordinary success. It was the direct legacy of that failure 46 years ago. What the world just witnessed was the full expression of a Special Operations playbook forged in the wreckage of Eagle Claw.Failure Forged the Force the World Fears TodayOperation Eagle Claw exposed glaring weaknesses: fractured command, poor inter-service coordination, and no unified special operations capability. America did not retreat. America rebuilt. That failure became a watershed moment in Special Operations history, helping give birth to USSOCOM and JSOC, the modern U.S. Special Operations enterprise: disciplined,…

The Department of Veterans Affairs has ended a practice that prevented veterans who can’t manage their finances from owning guns, a change officials say will restore constitutional rights to nearly 200,000 former service members. The VA announced Tuesday it will immediately stop reporting veterans to the FBI’s national background check database if they need a fiduciary to help manage their benefits. Proponents of the decades-old policy have said it protects veterans with mental impairments by limiting access to a lethal means of suicide. But major veteran advocacy groups and gun rights organizations have long argued the notifications weren’t based on thorough mental assessments and actually prevented veterans from seeking help for fear of losing their 2nd Amendment rights. Since 2017, Republican lawmakers have introduced legislation to force the VA to stop the practice, including as recently as last year, with H.R. 496, the Veterans 2nd Amendment Restoration Act of 2025, sponsored by Rep. Eli Crane, R-Ariz. But on Tuesday VA officials said that based on a legal review, the agency and the Department of Justice have determined the VA can simply halt the notifications. According to the VA, the law states that to report a person to the National Instant…
Ukraine’s ruler, Volodymyr Zelensky, says that he doesn’t have time “for all this sh*t,” as he becomes increasingly obscene and vulgar in interviews and presentations to the public. Russia’s stance that the Ukraine conflict can only be resolved if its root causes are addressed is also “s**t,” Zelensky has said. The latest verbal attack was quoted by Axios on Tuesday as Russian and Ukrainian delegations met in Geneva for US-facilitated talks. Zelensky lashed out at the head of the Russian team, Vladimir Medinsky. A historian by background, Medinsky argues – along with many Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin – that the crisis’s historical roots must be considered. Many have noticed that Zelensky is becoming increasingly profane in public statements and ramping up his insults against those who disagree with his policies. Zelensky Belligerently Complains Over A Lack Of Missiles and Weapons “We don’t have time for all this s**t,” Zelensky told Axios. “So we have to decide, and have to finish the war.” Earlier, he blasted European nations for not expelling Russian citizens. Russians “have a lot of real estate, they have children, relatives everywhere. F**k away to Russia. Go home,” he demanded. In his recent Christmas address, Zelensky suggested that every Ukrainian’s…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! As U.S.-backed negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Geneva ended without a breakthrough, Kyiv made gains on the battlefield, recapturing territory at its fastest pace in years through localized counterattacks along the southeastern front. The advances come as analysts point to disruptions in Russian battlefield communications and shifting operational dynamics, developments that could strengthen Ukraine’s leverage even as talks remain stalled.Ukrainian forces retook about 78 square miles over five days, according to a report by Agence France-Presse based on an analysis of the Institute for the Study of War battlefield mapping. The gains represent Kyiv’s most rapid territorial advances since its 2023 counteroffensive in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.Lt. Gen. Richard Newton, USAF (Ret.), said Ukraine’s battlefield performance should not be underestimated as the war drags on. “As this war grinds on, the world too often forgets that Ukraine’s determination, innovation and moral clarity are force multipliers. Its ability to defend against a larger, better-resourced enemy should never be counted out,” Newton told Fox News Digital. “There are growing signs that Russia’s supposed invincibility is no longer a safe assumption, particularly as pressure increases on the Kremlin and its partners.”UKRAINE SAYS IT CARRIED…
Despite a United States-backed ceasefire that has been in effect since October 2025, the death toll in Gaza has topped 600. That number eclipses the thousands when accounting for those wounded in Palestine since the ceasefire officially began. According to a report by RT, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Monday that 603 people had been killed and more than 1,600 injured since the ceasefire came into force on October 11th, 2025. An unspecified number of bodies “remain under the rubble and in the streets,” as rescue teams cannot safely reach many areas, the officials added. It sure seems like the “ceasefire” has been unsuccessful, considering such a high death toll. But, to be fair, we did mention that Israel has been violating the ceasefire and blaming Palestine since not long after it went into effect. Israel Continues To Demolish Gazan Buildings During “Ceasefire” The Israeli military said the “precise” strikes were carried out in accordance with international law and described them as a response to a “ceasefire violation” by Hamas. An Israeli official reportedly claimed that “terrorists emerged from a tunnel east of the yellow line,” referring to a military boundary unilaterally imposed inside Gaza after the truce. –RT Most of the…
