The lemons that you stole are factored into the bottom line of these mega-corporations regardless. The Marine Corps is opting to keep the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle rather than adopt the Army’s higher caliber M7, a service spokesperson confirmed in an email to Military Times. Lt. Col. Eric Flanagan, a public affairs officer for Marine Corps Combat Development Command, confirmed the decision, stating the M27 is well-suited “for our close combat formations as it best aligns with our unique service requirements, amphibious doctrinal employment of weapons and distinct modernization priorities.” Flanagan added that the M27 ensures “seamless interoperability across the Joint force and with coalition partners.” “We will continue to monitor development of the M7 NGSW-R to inform future requirements,” he said. Task & Purpose was the first to report the service’s decision. The Marine Corps previously recanted an announcement that it would be replacing the M27 with the Next Generation Squad Weapon, the precursor to the M7, which may have fueled speculation. The Army, meanwhile, recently began fielding the M7 in the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. When comparing the two weapon systems, notable differences emerge in features, operations, weight and cost. However, the most obvious difference between the two is their chambering, which impacts performance and ammunition capacity. The M27 IAR is chambered for 5.56mm…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! White House chief of staff Susie Wiles’ attorney in 2023 is disputing claims that he agreed to let the Biden-era FBI record a call with his client without her knowledge, according to a report.”If I ever pulled a stunt like that I wouldn’t – and shouldn’t – have a license to practice law,” the unidentified attorney said, according to Axios. “I’m as shocked as Susie.” The denial comes as scrutiny intensifies around the FBI’s use of subpoenas and investigative tools during special counsel Jack Smith’s Trump-related probes ahead of President Donald Trump’s 2024 re-election.Reuters first disclosed the subpoenas Wednesday, reporting that the Biden FBI subpoenaed Wiles’ and now-FBI Director Kash Patel’s phone records in 2022 and 2023, when both were private citizens. Smith was investigating claims Trump worked to overturn the 2020 election and his handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago, Florida, resort. At least 10 FBI employees were fired Wednesday over the matter, Fox News Digital previously learned. Amid the revelations, two FBI officials said that FBI agents recorded a phone call between Wiles and her attorney in 2023. Wiles’ attorney was aware the call was being recorded and consented, but Wiles…
Ever since the Army’s first campus-style dining location, 42 Bistro, opened at Fort Hood, Texas, on Feb. 18, celebrity chef Robert Irvine says he’s been getting regular data readouts showing how many soldiers are eating there and what they’re ordering. The British-born Irvine, best known as host of Food Network shows such as “Restaurant: Impossible,” has a longtime relationship with the U.S. military that includes more than a dozen USO tours and a foundation that awards need-based grants to active-duty troops. His Pentagon restaurant, Fresh Kitchen, has been serving healthy fare to service members, contractors and federal employees since 2016.Irvine’s name has been linked to the new Army dining initiative since it began. But in an interview with Military Times this month, he emphasized that he’s not merely contributing his name to the project, but planning to be the “bat” of enforcement if quality ever starts to slip. “If you drop the ball, watch out: the bat’s coming, and that bat will be me,” Irvine said. “This is serious for me … it’s not a passion project. This is a real project.”Five dining locations are expected to open by 2027 as part of a pilot phase, with plans to add 10…
How could such a small suppressor make a difference? To really answer that question about the Micro Streamer from Silent Steel, we first need to understand a few things about suppressors. These will include their size, purpose and inner design. At just 4.25″ long, the Micro Streamer is genuinely small for a rifle suppressor. It is compact enough to fit into one hand. We all know that suppressors do a few basic things. These include flash or signature reduction, noise reduction, and changes to how the gases are released from the end of your barrel (and eventually from the suppressor). In addition, the size of a suppressor is often tied to the amount of decibel reduction, as well as its inner design, such as traditional versus high-flow technology (or, in the case of the Silent Steel line, FLOW-IQ Technology). More on the internal design in a moment, though. The Micro Streamer mounted to the Springfield SAINT Victor shows just how little it adds to the overall length of the rifle. Also, the material they are made of (which can vary from company to company, or even within the same suppressor from outside to inside) will play a role in heat…
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, is facing criticism online after she reportedly had armed security guards remove The Atlantic staff writer Elaine Godfrey from her Senate campaign rally on Monday.Godfrey reported that she was “thrown out” of Crockett’s rally after being labeled a “top-notch hater” by Crockett’s team.”Right before armed guards escorted me from the rally and left me on the edge of a Texas-county road, I was informed that I was no longer welcome at an event that I had already attended,” Godfrey wrote on Thursday. She said she had spent about an hour at the Lubbock rally for Crockett’s Senate campaign before being approached by a woman with a badge after joining other reporters.”‘Are you Elaine?’ she asked. I recognized her from the entrance of the event, where I had identified myself as she’d waved me into the building’s press area. Yes, I answered. ‘Her team has asked you to leave,’ she said. This article was originally published by Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge. When Special Counsel Jack Smith was investigating Donald Trump and people in his orbit, he ended up surveilling then-private-citizen Kash Patel and Trump Chief of Staff Susie Wiles during 2022 and 2003. Patel, now head of the FBI, told Reuters on Wednesday that he found out about this, and the FBI buried the files in a “Prohibited” category deep within the bureau’s computer system so they would be extremely difficult to find. Getting down to it – the subpoenas targeted metadata showing who called whom and when – called ‘toll records,’ as well as a recorded a call between Susie Wiles and her lawyer – which her lawyer knew about and didn’t tell her, according to Fox News. Technically, under federal law, the government can obtain toll records with just a subpoena and no warrant. Investigators insist they routinely pull toll records from prominent figures to establish timelines and verify involvement. Smith himself testified to Congress that records seized from Republican senators during the January 6 probe helped confirm the timeline of events, that no content was captured, and that his office followed all legal requirements. Hours after Kash told Reuters his side of the story, insiders on team blue…

His agent, Deiric Jackson, confirmed the latest development in the 23-year-old’s tumultuous career to ESPN on Thursday.Veteran quarterback Daniel Jones beat out Richardson in a preseason competition for the starting job. However, his season was ultimately derailed by an Achilles injury. The setback came two years after he tore an ACL with the New York Giants. The Colts appear ready to move forward with Jones, clouding Richardson’s future in Indianapolis.Jones is set to become a free agent in March, meaning the Colts must either use the franchise tag or sign him to a new deal. Richardson has started just 15 games in three seasons with the Colts, his tenure largely shaped by injuries.
