The United States and Iran have reportedly agreed to terms to end their war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, news that brought relief to markets — although the pact may hinge on an end to hostilities in Lebanon and defers talks on Tehran’s nuclear program. While still a framework, the deal marked the biggest breakthrough towards resolving the conflict that has killed thousands and upended energy markets since it began with joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran in February.“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform at around 5:30 p.m. in Washington on Sunday. NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! New York City is expanding the use of small street activity sensors that count pedestrians, cyclists, buses and vehicles. The city says the goal is safer street design, better traffic planning and a clearer picture of how people actually use roads. That may sound like a very New York story. However, it is really a sign of where many U.S. cities could be headed.Across America, towns and cities are trying to solve the same problems. Drivers speed through busy corridors. Pedestrians cross where there is no crosswalk. Cyclists squeeze past parked cars. Buses get stuck in traffic. City leaders often have to make expensive safety decisions with limited data. Now, sensors can watch those patterns all day and all night.HOW SURVEILLANCE TECH LED POLICE TO ACCUSE THE WRONG PERSON The promise is safer streets. The concern is privacy. Disasters don’t wait and hit when it’s convenient. They don’t care if you’re miles from your car, halfway through a hike, or just grabbing lunch with nothing on you but your wallet and phone. Whether it’s an earthquake, a sudden storm, or some other emergency, your bug out bag won’t do you much good when all you have is whatever’s in your pockets. That’s the idea behind the survival keychain. It’s a collection of small, lightweight tools you can carry with you wherever you go. Obviously, it’s no substitute for a bug out bag, but it makes a great backup when nothing else is available. I recently came across a video on the Youtube channel, Iridium242, where he shows off his survival keychain and explains what tools it includes and why. You can watch it below, but I also typed up everything in his list and included a few ideas of my own at the end. Want to save this post for later? Click Here to Pin It On Pinterest! 1. Compact Rechargeable Flashlight The light featured in the video is the Olight i1R EOS, a tiny keychain-sized flashlight with two brightness settings: low and high. It comes with a…

United States ruler Donald Trump threatened to withdraw support for Israel if the attacks on Lebanon don’t stop. During a tense phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Axios has reported that Trump urged the prime minister not to restart a war that he’s currently escalating. Unfortunately, you can’t make this up. Trump has recently restarted attacks on Iran, to which the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has already retaliated. Yet, it looks like his goal is to shift blame onto Israel, when both rulers are war-mongering sociopaths. Trump has allegedly been irritated over the suspension of peace talks with Iran due to Israel’s continued strikes. Which is hypocritical considering he just ordered more attacks on Iran himself. Accoridng to a report by RT, Iran’s conditions for a peace agreement include the cessation of hostilities on “all fronts,” including Lebanon, where nearly 3,700 people have been killed since early March, when Israel resumed strikes in response to attacks by Hezbollah. Axios reported on Monday that Trump said in a phone interview with the outlet that he had warned Netanyahu that “if he went back to war with Iran, he might find himself fighting alone.” Trump previously confirmed reports that he had called…

The 1975 Steven Spielberg classic “Jaws” famously made several generations of people afraid of the ocean. Now, in 2026, it looks like the upcoming movie “Whalefall” is here to kickstart a whole new bunch of people who will stick to the sand next time they hit the beach. The film is based on Daniel Kraus’ 2023 book of the same name, and while there’s a lot of depth to the story, it’s the boiled-down premise that is going to put butts in seats: man gets swallowed by a sperm whale while scuba diving. I mean, yeah, the Bible already did it, but I’m intrigued.‘JAWS’ AT 50: HOW ‘PERFECT FILM’ DROVE PUBLIC FASCINATION WITH SHARKS AND STILL MAKES US AFRAID TO SWIMAnd it’s hard not to be intrigued by the trailer that 20th Century Studios just put out because it doesn’t pull any punches and shows you what everyone wants to see, and that’s star Austin Abrams doing his best impression of chum.Nope. Nope. Nope. Now, I’m a big sperm whale guy. I think they’re so cool. They overcame a name that will make any middle schooler chuckle to become one of nature’s most underappreciated badasses.Moby-Dick? U.S. Navy chaplains will discard their rank insignia on working and utility uniforms starting Tuesday, the service announced in an administrative message. The guidance follows an edict issued by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on March 24 in a video uploaded to X, in which he stated that a chaplain is a chaplain first and an officer second.Previously, uniforms worn by chaplains presented rank insignia in addition to a symbol denoting their religion, but Hegseth ordered the removal of rank insignia to ensure that chaplains would “be seen among the highest ranks because of their divine calling.”“Effective immediately, Navy chaplains will remove all rank insignia when wearing working or utility uniform components to include Navy working uniforms (NWUs), coveralls, flight suits, flight deck clothing and 2-piece organizational clothing (2POC) uniforms,” the administrative message said. “Rank insignia will also be removed from all outer garments and covers when worn with working and utility uniforms.”RELATEDThe chaplain staff corps insignia, meanwhile, will continue to be displayed, according to the memo. When chaplains are wearing service, service dress, formal or ceremonial uniforms, service members are to offer required military honors and courtesies, the message said. When these personnel are in working and utility uniforms and are outdoors…

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! President Donald Trump took some heat during Wednesday’s examination of the Sports Broadcasting Act.Representatives ripped the National Football League for broadcasting games exclusively to streaming services, costing some fans nearly $1,000 to watch their favorite teams. However, one Democratic rep felt it necessary to take an unrelated swipe at Trump after he attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Trump became the first sitting president to attend the NBA Finals when he watched his hometown New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks won the first two games of the series in San Antonio before dropping Monday’s home game.In a hearing that was largely about the NFL having fans pay absurd prices to watch games on streaming sites, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., seemed to blame Trump for the Knicks’ loss.”We cannot discuss anything related to sports today without taking note of the sports story happening in this country today – the New York Knicks’ drive for an NBA championship. Tonight is Game 4, and as long as Donald Trump stays far away from Madison Square Garden, the Knicks should do fine. Let’s go Knicks,” Nadler said. TRUMP…

Positional shooting is typically associated with competition and tactical shooting. In fact, in my experience most hunters don’t think much about positional shooting or practice it regularly. Many hunters do little more than pull their rifle out of the safe and shoot five to 10 rounds from a bench or the prone position at 100 yards to check zero before they head out into the field in pursuit of game. From a seated stance on the slope, the author rests his rifle across an inverted frame pack to build a stable shooting platform. In my opinion, as sportsmen, we owe the wildlife we chase more than that. Beyond zero confirmation, we should be spending time with the rifle we intend to use in the field so that we can ensure a clean and ethical kill. As a professional in the outdoor industry, I spend far more time in the field than most. Last year alone, I was either photographing, observing, or participating in hunts and other shooting-centric events for around 100 days, all over the world. Over hundreds of hunts — both pulling the trigger myself and observing others — I have never seen anyone harvest an animal while shooting…

United States President Donald Trump has ordered “self-defense” strikes on Iranian targets in response to the downing of an AH-64 Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian broadcaster Press TV reported that several projectiles struck the strategic island of Qeshm near the narrowest part of the Strait of Hormuz. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) described Trump’s order to attack as “self-defense strikes… in response to yesterday’s downing of a US Army Apache helicopter.” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) almost immediately retaliated, hitting US military targets in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait. The IRGC has published footage of missile launches it stated were aimed at American military facilities in several Arab countries, describing the operation as retaliation for recent US attacks, according to a report by RT. US strikes were also reported in other parts of Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province. Earlier on Tuesday, CENTCOM said the helicopter that started these renewed strikes had crashed off the coast of Oman while patrolling the area and that its two pilots had been rescued. Iran has not taken responsibility for the downing of the helicopter, with one official being quoted as saying “there was no deliberate attack” on the aircraft. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas…
